A regular press conference of Prime Minister Rutte took place today. Politicians are very concerned about the spread of the British coronavirus. This strain is considered even more contagious and spreads faster. The response was the introduction of new protective measures:
- Do not accept more than 1 person 13 years old or older.
- Visit different places no more than once a day.
- Work from home. It is recommended to come to work only for those people whose professions are necessary for business processes and who cannot do their work from home.
- You can only go outside with family members or in groups of a maximum of 2 people.
- There is a curfew from 20:30 pm to 4:30 am. This means that you cannot be outside without a good reason.
- Stores with essential goods have been opened.
- Closed hairdressing salons, nail salons, intimate services industry, etc.
- Theaters, concert halls, cinemas, casinos are closed.
- Amusement parks and zoos are closed.
- Sports grounds, gyms, swimming pools and saunas are closed.
- Restaurants and cafes are closed.
- Primary school educational institutions must provide students with the opportunity to study remotely by at least February 7. Kindergartens and out-of-school institutions for children are also closed during this period.
- Secondary education institutions can conduct practical classes and trainings in their locations for those who are going to take the final school exams this year.
- When studying at the MBO, HBO and WO levels, you can take exams and practice in locations.
- In all educational institutions, exceptions may be made for visiting persons accompanying students with special needs. For children whose parents do important / irreplaceable work, assistance is allowed in the form of attendance of these children in kindergartens, primary school and after school. But it must be understood that this measure is applied only if otherwise is impossible.
- Only (a couple of) medical contact professions are allowed.
- Hotels are open, but restaurants and room service (such as room service) are closed in hotels.
- Adults go in for sports on their own or in pairs and only outdoors. Children under the age of 17 are allowed to play sports in a team and play matches with each other on the street.
- Use public transport only for strictly necessary travel.
- Stay in the Netherlands. Do not travel abroad or book trips abroad until March inclusive. In addition, certain travel restrictions apply.
