Family reunification

The family reunification program in the Netherlands does not work in the form in which it exists in a number of other EU countries (for example, in Belgium, France, Germany). However, for persons who have acquired Dutch citizenship, there is still the possibility of family reunification, albeit often in a somewhat roundabout way.

Family reunification is considered to be an invitation to the country of the closest relatives (in addition to the official partner), including elderly parents.

If you want to learn more about the process of applying for family reunification or get personal advice on this issue, leave a request on the website. We will gladly help you!
