The European Union adds Antille and Barbados to the offshore blacklist. The Cayman Islands and Oman were removed from the list as they carried out the necessary reforms.
The EU has maintained a list of tax havens since December 2017 and revises it twice a year. There are countries and regions where the authorities do not levy sufficient corporate tax and are unwilling to fight tax evasion.
The blacklist also includes: Fiji, American Samoa, Guam, US Virgin Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Seychelles, Vanuatu, Samoa, Palau and Panama.
