Filing a partner declaration for the partial year 2019

Hello! In 2019, I lived in the Netherlands for a full year, working remotely in the Russian Federation. My partner moved to the Netherlands in autumn 2019. He is an EU citizen and works remotely for Ireland. We live at the same address, we officially registered a partnership in February. Do I understand correctly that we need to submit declarations separately, because... does he need to submit Form M? Will the tax office calculate our taxes separately or jointly? Hello!
Yes you are right. For 2019, you need to file two separate returns. You need Form P, and your husband needs Form M. Tax will also count taxes separately. In the next year 2020, you will already be able to file a family declaration.
