good afternoon
I'm going to go to study for a master's degree in September this year. I want to go in my car with Russian license plates. You can drive without registration in NL territory for six months, then you need to change your license and register the car, as far as I understand. But the broker to whom I approached with a similar question told me that since I was going to study, I could drive with Russian license plates for a year (as long as my program lasts), the main thing is to have documents for the car and a student card with me. The broker claims that this information is from the tax office.
I myself cannot contact the tax office, as there is either a personal meeting or a phone call where the staff speaks Dutch.
Can you clarify whether I can really drive a car with Russian license plates for a year while studying at the university?
Thank you
