New tax monitoring option on the tax website

You can now track your taxes on the website of the tax service. Recently, taxpayers can use the new option "Pay and receive", that is, at any time to check how much you owe the tax and what it owes you.

Only IB and Zvw

So far, the "Pay and receive" option allows individuals and companies to receive information only about the amounts accrued for payment:

• income tax (Inkomstenbelasting, IB);
• social security contributions (Zorgverzekeringswet, Zvw).

In addition to the amounts to be paid, taxpayers can also find all payment information such as payment link and account number. 

What's next?

In the near future, the IRS will add the ability to monitor other taxes and subsidies. Taxpayers will soon be able to pay taxes and receive payments from the tax service through the iDEAL payment system, access to the tax website through eHerkenning will be available - while this requires DigiD.
