Allowance for Ukrainians who live in families will grow

Recall that the amounts of benefits for those families who are accommodated in the territory of refugee camps or in places of temporary shelter are as follows:

1. The one-time start-up allowance is 61 euros.
2. Weekly:
3. a) a family of 2: for an adult - 61 euros, for a child - 53 euros.
4. b) a family of 3: for an adult - 51 euros, for a child - 45.
5. c) a family of 4 or more people: for an adult - 47, for a child - 41.

Changes in the amount of the allowance have affected those who live in a host family.

Adults

75 euros per week will be received additionally by Ukrainians living in a host family.

But it's not that simple. If the family consists of several people, then the first member of the family receives an additional 75 euros.

Children
25 euros is allocated by the government additionally for the first child. If there are more children, then for the second and third child - 12.50 each.

Thus, the additional amount for a family living in a Dutch house will be a maximum of 125 euros per week.

“This money is for Ukrainians,” said Carola Schouten, Minister for Poverty Alleviation, Political Participation and Pensions (Armoedebeleid, Participatie en Pensioenen). “If they come to live with a host family, they can contribute to the household.”

At the moment, there are no separate payments for host families.

Initially, the scheme will be applied for three months.
