If you come to your loved one from the Netherlands and want to be together, then you can apply for a residence permit in the Netherlands under a simplified scheme. In fact, the conditions are the same as those of the partners of EU residents.
That is, if you are already in the country, then you do not need to travel back to Ukraine, submit documents there and take exams.

- You cannot return to Ukraine.
- You are legally resident in the Netherlands.
- Both you and your sponsor meet the conditions for obtaining a residence permit. Moreover, you do not need to take the basic civic integration exam abroad.
