Wage requirements announced in 2021 for:
- highly skilled migrants (kennismigranten -KM),
- intra-corporate transfers (Intra-Corporate Transferees- ICT) and
- holders of the European Blue (blue) card (EU Blue Card-houders),
and they made up:
- KM / ICT - 30 years old and older: € 4.752;
- KM / ICT - under 30: € 3.484
- KMs educated in the Netherlands at HBO or WO level or graduated from one of the top 200 universities and started working as KM within 3 years after graduation: € 2.497.
This reduced wage requirement also applies to those who had a residence permit in the Netherlands for a “year to look for work” (zoekjaar), but who did not find a job as a KM during that year, but found work as a CM. within 3 years after graduation.
- European Blue Card holder: – EUR 5.567.
These changes have occurred due to the fact that the wages of highly qualified migrants, intra-corporate transfers and holders of the European Blue (blue) card must always correspond to the market.
The new rates are the conditions for the above-mentioned specialists on the minimum gross wage per month, excluding vacation pay. This wage requirement applies to applications filed with the IND from 1 January 2021.
