During today's press conference between Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Health Minister De Jonge, new measures were announced to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The rules will take effect from 22:00 on October 14.
Today, October 13, the Cabinet of Ministers decided that more stringent measures are needed to reduce the number of infections, for example:
– public catering establishments are closed;
– shops close at the latest by 20:00 (an exception is made for supermarkets and other stores selling food);
– in the system of secondary, secondary vocational and higher education, everyone must wear a mask outside of class.
We have prepared infographics on the main aspects of the conference.
