In the Netherlands, it has never been cheap to violate traffic rules, even if you don't ride a bicycle without lights, it's better not to ride. However, since this year, some traffic fines have increased slightly again.
This applies to driving through a red light, it has become more expensive by 10 euros (from 230 to 240 euros). And exceeding the speed of 10 kilometers per hour within the village will now cost you 72 euros instead of 70. The new thing is that you can agree to pay fines from 75 euros in installments. Previously, this was only possible with fines from 225 euros.
Be careful on the roads!
