Good afternoon I live in Russia, and my man is a citizen of the Netherlands. We are not married yet. We've been dating for almost 3 years. We learned that it was possible for me to obtain entry permission if we filled out a special form. However, they say that I can only arrive on a direct flight, without transfers. And this is impossible from Russia. I wanted to fly through Istanbul, but they would refuse me to cross the border at Schiphol. Please tell me, is this really so? Direct flights only?
