Good day. If I am an EU citizen and live in an NL, but work in another EU country under an employment contract with taxes paid in that country. How, in this case, taxes are paid in the IP, declare and where? And is it necessary. With this strange one, the IP has a so-called treaties to avoid double taxation. The total annual income for this work is less than the limit of the surebet at the first minimum rate in the NL. Thank.

Good afternoon, Ivan, thanks for the question.

You can file a tax return and declare your income from another country. Because there is an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation between your country of work and the Netherlands; taxes paid by you in that other country will be offset. If you received a letter from the tax office with a request to report your income, you are required to file a return, if you have not received the letter, then you can file it, but this is at your discretion.

Good afternoon thanks! Those. Do I understand correctly that there is no need to notify during the year, but simply at the beginning of the year it is necessary to submit an annual declaration for the previous one? Are there any deductions other than medical insurance, which you still have to pay in the NL? Thank.

Good afternoon, Ivan

You can file a tax return within 5 years. Every person registered in the Netherlands pays social contributions from their income (volksverzerkeringen).
Algemene Ouderdomswet (AOW) – Algemene Ouderdomswet – pension
Algemene nabestaandenwet (Anw) – Algemene nabestaandenwet – benefit in the event of the death of one of the partners. (if the dependent child is under 18 years of age, and the partner is 45% or more disabled)
Wet langdurige zorg (Wlz) – Wet langdurige zorg – care in case of physical/mental disabilities
If you are working, then these fees are included in loonheffing.
