Hello, my name is Evgeniya. I would be grateful for advice on how I can correctly fill out the Dutch tax return for 2020 with the following inputs: - lived (was registered) in Holland and received a salary in Holland for a partial reporting year (January - early February 2020) - I didn’t have a fiscal partner in 2020 - at the beginning of February 2020 I quit my job in Holland, left the municipality and went for permanent residence in Russia - I don’t receive any income in Holland, I’m not registered, I don’t pay health insurance, no household “ties” no. - I have two (not dual, but two) citizenships - Russia and the Netherlands. Question 1: should I indicate in the Dutch tax return 2020 any data about my new job and income in Russia - after leaving Holland? Will this affect the non-recalculation of the tax refund? At the moment, I filled out the Dutch return, indicating information only for the period when I was registered in Holland (January - early February 2020). I have not indicated any other income yet. Since the end of February 2020, I have actually been a tax resident of Russia and would like to make sure that I have provided everything from the documentary side to avoid double taxation. Question 2: I do not plan to return to Holland in the coming years. Do I need to continue to fill out a Dutch tax return in subsequent years, despite the fact that I am not registered, work or receive any other income in Holland? Thanks in advance, Evgeniyae.viknyanshchuk@gmail.com

Evgenia, good afternoon.

Thank you for contacting our company. You were a tax resident of the Netherlands at the time you were registered in the country. Therefore, when filing your tax return, you must take into account your income received in the Netherlands. Do not forget that the M form, which you must submit for less than a year in the Netherlands, is always submitted in paper form, and is not filled out on the tax office's website.

If in subsequent periods you receive an invitation from the tax office to fill out a declaration, you must submit it.
You can contact us with your questions by mail info@nalog.nl
We are happy to help you complete your tax return.

Regards, Nalog.nl Team
