My permit says:
Arbeit als kennismigrant. Arbeit als kennismigrant en zelfstandige toegestaan, andere arbeid toegestaan met TWV.
Can I become a co-owner of a company (BV) and work in it with a permit as a kennismigrant (second permit for 5 years)?
Should the company in this case be on the list of registered sponsors? If so, what is the sequence of registration steps and is there a great chance of getting a sponsorship permit for the newly organized company?

Thank you!

Eugene, good afternoon.

Your residence permit says that you can work either as a highly qualified specialist or as a self-employed person, that is, an individual entrepreneur. Other types of work must be coordinated with the TWV work permit organization. Therefore, it is best to consult with them, taking into account all factors, whether you are going to stay in the job that gives you the status of a highly qualified specialist or not, in what capacity you want to work in the company you plan to become a co-owner of, and so on.

Or we can invite you for a consultation with our lawyers. In order to organize it, please write a letter with a detailed description of the situation and questions to the address lawyer@nalog.nl
