Dutch tax authorities reminded, that as of October 1, 2023, part of the heavy vehicle tax exemptions (Belasting zware motorrijtuigen - BZM) will expire. This tax applies to trucks and special equipment.
Benefits are canceled for vehicles with a total weight of over 12 tons, used on public roads and belonging to the following groups of vehicles:
- Vehicles intended for transport evacuation,
- Library buses,
- Garbage trucks, including tipper type,
- Agricultural machinery,
- Mobile workshops,
- Buses equipped to provide dental care to schoolchildren
- Trams,
- Telecommunications company vehicles,
- Cars - traveling exhibitions,
- Vehicles delivering purchases
- Vehicles for sewerage repair and maintenance,
- Vehicles used for training.
