15 March 2023 year Svetlana Koshek, head of the company, and Julia Yurik, a tax consultant at Nalog.nl, were invited as speakers to an event for Ukrainian refugees living in the municipality of Stichtse Vecht. as tax residents of the Netherlands.
Tax return
The event was attended by 60 people. Mostly these were working Ukrainians, for whom the issue of filing a tax return for 2022 in the Netherlands is now relevant. Ukrainian refugees with temporary protection were interested in when the obligation to file a declaration arises, what form of declaration to choose, whether it is beneficial to file a declaration in this or that case. Income tax
A separate block of seminars was devoted to the basics of calculating income tax in the Netherlands, as well as the features of avoiding double taxation under agreements between the Netherlands and Ukraine. Among other things, the issue was about the pitfalls of receiving income at the same time, both in the Netherlands and from Ukraine. The participants of the event received the basic knowledge that will help them feel more confident in the Netherlands.
