Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (CMU) No. 41 dated January 18, 2023 amendments were made to the Rules for the provision of postal services (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 270 of March 05, 2009). The changes affected clause 37 of the Rules, which contains a list of documents prohibited from being sent. Now, Ukrainian passports for traveling abroad have been removed from the list of documents that cannot be sent by mail. In addition, for the period of martial law or quarantine, it is allowed to send internal Ukrainian passports and Certificates of the right to return to Ukraine by mail.
