On June 7, 2022, deputies of the House of Representatives sent an appeal to the Government of the Netherlands for assistance to businesses facing economic difficulties as a result of Russian aggression in Ukraine. The deputies propose to the Cabinet of Ministers to apply the programs developed for economic support of enterprises during the coronavirus pandemic to help entrepreneurs in modern conditions.
127 out of 150 members of the House of Representatives voted for this proposal. Parliamentarians are convinced that the economic consequences for business as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war are as (if not more) severe as those from restrictive measures to contain the coronavirus. The government is encouraged to apply the well-established business support measures taken during the coronacrisis to support businesses in the current situation.
Find out which measures to help entrepreneurs can be applied if the Government supports the proposal of the parliamentarians.
