Workers of urban and regional transport are going to strike from May 30 to June 11. In specific municipalities, the strike will last 24 hours. On other days transport workers will strike in other regions of the Netherlands. On May 30, traffic in Tilburg stopped, and traffic in the municipality has already been restored. However, until June 11, strikes in other municipalities will take place daily. When planning trips, it is worth finding out whether public transport will run at important points on the route.

The exact schedule of strikes by municipality is not yet known. We can say that on May 31, a public transport stop is planned in Lelystad, Harderwijk, Dronten, Emmeloord, Zwartsluis and Den Bosch. Employees of the transport company HTM, serving The Hague and the immediate suburbs of the capital, are planning to strike on June 2. If the strike interferes with your plans, we recommend rescheduling your travel date or choosing a different type of transport.
