During a war, anything can happen. Including disconnection from the network. Roskomnadzor has already announced a partial restriction of access to Facebook from February 25.
What needs to be done to stay up to date with the news and, most importantly, in touch with relatives living abroad?
1. Install a VPN. Most effective:
It is better to download several options at once!
2. In case of blocking Telegram (Russian users are already reporting malfunctions), you need to get your proxy server in advance. This can be done by writing to the following telegram bots. After receiving the proxy server, you need to check its operation. To do this, add it with one click to your settings:

3. Download independent media apps that you trust. They often have a built-in bypass function.
Internet slowdown
When everything hangs, use the following tips:
- close all "heavy" applications. They generate traffic even when they are asleep.
- remove all unnecessary applications.
- disconnect from WiFi all unnecessary devices (smart TVs, set-top boxes and vacuum cleaners).
- turn off the automatic upload of photos and videos in messengers in the settings.
