Holidays 2021-2022
The law does not prescribe mandatory weekends on holidays. Information about whether you work (or, if you are an employer, then your employees) on a particular holiday is in the collective agreement (CAO). In this case, as a rule, weekends will coincide with public holidays. If there is no such document for your sector, then the employer indicates similar information in the contract.

School break
In the Netherlands, the system of school vacations is very different from that familiar to immigrants from the post-Soviet countries. Vacation dates vary by region (north, central, south). This is done in order to avoid festive
