During today's press conference by Mark Rutte and Hugo de Jonge, the continuation of the lockdown was announced.
But it will not affect everyone - from February 8, primary schools and kindergartens will open, not only shops selling essential goods and pharmacies will be open, but pre-ordering and pick-up in those retail chains that declare this will be possible.
In general, the number of coronavirus patients per day is decreasing and hospitals are gradually becoming less crowded.
But while the curfew remains in effect, however, the question of extending it from February 10 is still open.
Unfortunately, new strains of viruses are spreading rapidly in the Netherlands, which is why, wishing to prevent new infections as much as possible, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to extend the current quarantine.
The rules will come into force on February 10 and will last at least another month – until March 02, 2021.
