Hello! I would like to know about the tax refund for tuition. I studied from 2015 to 2019 at a university in Holland. Last summer I finished my studies and at the moment I am in the orientation year until July. Officially worked for 6 months during the orientation year in a Dutch company, but at the moment I have not worked for more than 2 months.
I have never filed a tax return. Can you please tell me if it is possible to get a tax refund for tuition?
I have a Russian passport, my parents paid for my studies through a bank in Russia to the account of a university in Holland. Thank you in advance!

Good afternoon, Julia!
Unfortunately, you can only get a tax refund for training if you yourself paid for the training from your personal account. Since your parents paid for your university, you won't be able to get a refund.
