Please help me figure it out. I moved to NL with my partner KM in April 2019. From April to December, I worked as an individual entrepreneur remotely for a company in Ukraine. The income was also credited to an individual entrepreneur that was opened in Ukraine, the total amount was ~ 6000 EUR.
Can you please tell me if I have to request and fill out the M form? The tax office did not send me any letters. My partner's firm has already filed a form for him separately and I am not listed there as unemployed / without income. Can the tax office have any questions on this basis?

You are right, if you did not receive a letter from the tax office, you are not required to file a return. However, you can file it on your own initiative, as you are entitled to a tax refund for an unemployed partner.
