good afternoon
Can you please tell me if I moved to the Netherlands in October 2018 (as a Dutchman's wife) and did not work in the Netherlands in 2018, will I need to fill out an M-form for 2018 tax return? Previously, I worked in another EU country and paid tax there.
Thank you,
Anastasia

Dear Anastasia!

You are not entitled to anything in 2018, since you have lived (were registered in Holland) for less than 6 months in Holland.
If the non-working partner has lived in Holland for less than 6 months, then he will not be entitled to any discounts or refunds.

The period for filing annual returns for 2018 is from 01-03-2019 to 30-04-2019.

If you receive a notice from the tax office about the need to file an annual return, you must do this within the specified tax time frame.
If you do not receive notification, then the annual return can be submitted at any time during the next 5 years.

thank you very much for your reply!
That is, if I do not receive a notification from the tax office between 01-03-2019 and 30-04-2019, can I not file a tax return for 2018 in the Netherlands at all?

That is how
And in 2019, already submit the usual Form P for 2019
