Gift to a relative abroad

Good afternoon,

I'm a 30% Kennis immigrant. I would like to gift funds above the tax-free threshold by transfer from a Dutch bank account to my mother abroad. I received the funds while living in the Netherlands from a Dutch employer. Mom has nothing to do with the Netherlands (she has never lived here). Will Dutch gift tax apply in this case?
