Under certain conditions, by making regular donations to public benefit institutions (Algemeen nut beogende instellingen - ANBI's), you can take advantage of the tax deduction. However, from January 1, 2023, this benefit will only apply to amounts up to EUR 250.000 per calendar year.

Regular donations

To begin with, let us recall what regular donations are, since they can be deducted from taxes, that is, reduce the amount of taxable income. This issue is devoted to our overview. More information on the criteria for distinguishing between ordinary and regular donations can be found https://www.izakayasushilounge.com tax service.

Introduction of restriction

Limiting the deduction on regular donations will have no impact on the vast majority of taxpayers, and will only affect a small group of individuals. The government does not want to discourage taxpayer generosity, but seeks to limit the receipt of tax credits for very large regular donations.

Note! The government proposes this measure to avoid the temptation to make excessively large regular donations in order to reduce or even eliminate taxable income.

Validity limit of 250.000 euros

If the taxpayer has a fiscal partner, then the amount of 250.000 euros is the regular donations made by both during the calendar year together. Fully deductible no later than 2027 will be regular donations made before October 4, 2022 (until 16:00). Of course, all the usual terms for regular donations.
