Warehousing in Bleiswijk was not just a family business - the employees actually had to join the corporate family, and there is nothing figurative in this definition. Well, how else to call a team in which everyone hugs its head in the morning? However, the matter was not limited to morning hugs: hugs lasted all day and regularly turned into kisses, and perky jokes of a sexual nature rained down. All worthy (in the opinion of the owner) body parts of employees were regularly and openly discussed.

However, the owner admired not only the employees, but also himself. Once with the workers in the toilet, the owner regularly showed them his genitals and even delivered solemn speeches dedicated to them. The genitals of the employees also did not go unnoticed - the owner jokingly grabbed the employees by their hands and laughed happily.

The peculiar corporate culture of the company was developed and directed by the son of the boss. Due to the fact that nothing is known about the personal participation of the owner's son in the family games of the Blaiswijk warehouse, we will consider him a pure theorist. However, dad went to work like a holiday, and this went on for more than 10 years.

Discord in the "family idyll" in the warehouse occurred unexpectedly - one of the family members turned out to be a traitor. After working for 16 years in a warm (and even slightly overheated) team, he suddenly decided to quit and brazenly stated that it was the family atmosphere that was the reason. The owner did not agree with such a formulation of the question and suggested that the worker forget about nonsense, continue to live in peace, but he became stubborn.

Worse than that - he took out dirty family linen to people! Rather, he hired a lawyer and, together with him, dragged the whole thing to court.

At the trial, the father-owner happily announced that he did not see any reason for the trial: the employee never declared dissatisfaction with the family traditions of the warehouse, which means that he was pleased with everything, they say, and there is nothing to understand. The judge, of course, appreciated the jokes, but did not agree with the defendant and stated that the salary of 3151 euros (gross) and the bonuses distributed personally by the owner were a kind of gag in the mouth of the employees, until one of them had a breakdown. In fairness, we note: this level of remuneration is noticeably higher than in other warehouses, without family traditions.

The judge added that the owner of the company is obliged to provide his employees with safe - including from a psychological point of view - working conditions, and unexpectedly awarded the "traitor" claimant more than 56 euros in compensation. Others followed the first traitor, and the number of complaints filed is growing. Family collapsed! But how well it all started ...
