The number of people living under one roof can affect the amount of social benefits. But this rule does not apply to persons who have received refugees from Ukraine.
Saving the size of AOW, Anw and AIO
If recipients of pensions (AOW), allowances (Anw) or allowances (AIO) hosted Ukrainian refugees for up to 6 months, the amount of social benefits will not decrease for this period. The six month period is temporary. Perhaps later, depending on the situation in Ukraine, it will be extended.
Notification obligation
In order to maintain the amount of payments, recipients of AOW, Anw or AIO are required to report the fact of accepting Ukrainian refugees to the Social Insurance Bank - Sociale Verzekerigsbank (SVB) within 4 weeks. Information on the names and dates of birth of the refugees admitted will be required.
