NOW - temporary employers support scheme
Are you an employer facing financial problems as a result of restrictive measures related to the coronavirus? You cannot provide hired personnel with a full workload and at the same time have lost your income or part of it? If you answered “Yes” to both questions, then the information below will be helpful to you.
NOW is a temporary emergency employer support program. Its essence lies in the fact that you accept the obligation not to lay off your employees and not to reduce their working hours in exchange for reimbursement of the state for employee salaries and related deductions.
The compensated interest depends on the level of lost income:

| Complete loss of income 100% ————– | 90% of the wage bill |
| Loss of half of income 50% ———– | 45% of the wage bill |
| Loss of a quarter of income 25% ————- | 22,5% of the wage bill |
Requirements for the applicant:
- You are a payroll tax liable (Loonheffing);
- You expect to lose at least 20% of your income after 01.03.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX;
- You are ready to make a commitment to keep your employees in employment for the period of receiving financial assistance.
UWV will later check the accuracy of the information you provide. Inaccuracy of the specified data may result in a demand for a partial or full refund.
Please note that this benefit applies to a director shareholder (DGA) only if he is personally insured under the employee insurance scheme (Werknemersverzekeringen (WW / ZW / WIA)
