Partner residence permit
Are you here under temporary protection and do you already have a partner with a Dutch residence permit/with Dutch citizenship/with EU citizenship? This means that you can change your status from temporary protection status to partner residence permit.
Why might this be useful to you?
- The status of a partner residence permit is not temporary; after 3-5 years it can lead to obtaining a Dutch passport without the need to renounce Ukrainian citizenship (if in an official partnership with a Dutchman).
- At this time, you do not need to pass the language exam (A1) to achieve this status.
Should we be afraid of this transition?
No, because you can always return to temporary protected status.
What are the requirements?
- Your partner is a citizen of the Netherlands, a resident of the European Union or has a long-term residence permit in the Netherlands
- Your partner is registered in the Netherlands
- Your partner's income is at least €2154,60 per month.
- You are either in a registered partnership or marriage, or your relationship is more than 6 months old (which you can prove).
How to do it?
- Contact us by filling out the form below. Be sure to indicate what status your partner has, what annual income your partner has, whether your relationship is formalized, and whether you have children.
- After receiving the application, we will generate a letter with a link to payment (182 euros) - this is a preliminary check and analysis of your situation.
- After payment, we will tell you what documents will be required from you (and how to collect them, where to request them).
- You collect the required package of documents and send it to us. We check the entire set again - if something is missing, we will contact you further.
- When all the documents have been collected and verified, and we are convinced that you are eligible to receive a partner visa, we will issue you a final invoice for the service of processing a request for a residence permit.
- You pay the final bill (it already includes the pre-check amount).
- We will fill out all forms, agree on them with you and send them to IND.
- Once you receive a response from the IND, you will be able to schedule an appointment to obtain your residence permit.
Service price
Basic request for a partner residence permit = 847 euros.
If your relationship is more than 6 months old, but an official partnership or marriage has not been registered = + 181,5 euros.
If you have children = + 484 euros for each.
