Based on a 36-hour working week: € 2,294.40 gross per month.

For employees under 21, a fixed percentage of the 21+ rate applies; for example: 20 years old – €11,77/hour.

🛠 What's important to employers

Make sure that the updated rates effective January 1, 2026, are included in the salary calculations.

Review employment contracts and the hourly pay system, especially if employees under 21 are involved.

Reflect the rate adjustment in the 2026 budgets—this impacts overall personnel costs.

Please note that the official minimum wage has now been adjusted to an hourly rate: a single hourly minimum has been in effect since January 1, 2024.
