We are starting a series of publications on the plans of the government headed by Mark Rutte for the fourth time. The coalition agreement (coalitieakkoord) reached by the parties VVD, D66, CDA and ChristenUnie presents initiatives that are yet to become laws.
Judging by the plans, the government has taken a course on reforming the tax system, solving housing problems and protecting the environment.
Box 3 (incomes from savings and investments go there)
From 2023, the tax-free amount is expected to increase from €50 (in 650) to around €2022 per taxpayer. The date is approximate, perhaps the authorities will come to 80 euros within a few years. The news is certainly good, especially for those who have about the same amount expected in the near future in Box 000.
This year, the tax-free amount in Box 3 has increased from 50 euros to 000 euros per person. For tax partners, this amount is higher and amounts to 50 euros for two instead of last year's 650.
