A reminder to the employer of what he needs to know when sending workers on a business trip
08.09.2021Before sending business travelers to work in the Netherlands, they must be registered on the government portal.
Every employee who comes on a business trip to the Netherlands is obliged to have a set of documents with him in order to present them at the request of the inspection structures.
Documents that an employee must have at the workplace in the Netherlands:
- labor contract;
- payroll (payroll);
- summary data on working hours and receipts;
- form A1;
- employees from outside the EU must, in addition to their national passport, have a residence and work permit for the EEA country where they normally work for the entire duration of their journey to the Netherlands.
Language of documents: English, Dutch, German or French.
Posted employees are required to keep all documents for 5 years after the trip, as these documents may be requested by the inspectorate.
