Short Term Business Visa

Application process

If you need a visa, then in the list below you will find the documents that you will need when applying for one.

Conditions that you must meet:

• You have a valid travel document such as a passport. The travel document must be valid for 3 months after the expiration of the visa. He may also be no older than 10 years old.
• You do not pose a threat to public order, national security or international relations of any of the Schengen countries.
• You are on a business trip of great economic importance to the Netherlands. Examples of business goals:
• Consulting or training in a business unit established in the Netherlands.
• Purchase and sale of products, business transactions and prices.
• Attending an exhibition, conference or seminar.
• Participation in a cultural or sports event.
• Diplomatic visit (diplomats).
• Political visit.
• Internship or study (less than 90 days).
• You have sufficient reasons to return to your country of origin or residence. For example, because you have a job there, children (go to school) or your own home. One return ticket is not enough.
• You have been invited by a company or organization (for example, a foundation, volunteer organization, sports association, event organization, church or government organization) in the Netherlands. The inviting party does not have to be created in the Netherlands, the invitation can come from a foreign organization. The Netherlands should be the destination.
• You have sufficient financial means for doing business in the Netherlands and for your stay in the Netherlands, transport and / or return journey:
• The foreign company (in which you work) indicates in the invitation who is responsible for the expenses (ticket, hotel, transport, medical travel insurance);

Or

• You have a minimum of EUR 55 per person per day for your stay in the Netherlands.
• You have travel medical insurance in your name. The insurance covers at least € 30 for medical expenses in the Netherlands / Schengen area.
